A Labyrinth themed wedding made her dreams come true
If you haven’t heard of “The Labyrinth”, it’s a cult classic movie that Natasha has loved since childhood. But before the wedding could be planned, there had to be a couple in love. It all came down to a successful blind date for Brad and Natasha. They were “set-up” by his sister in law, who also happened to be Natasha’s coworker. The first date was spent with dinner and a movie, and they enjoyed each other’s company so much, they just kept seeing each other! They discovered they love to see, do, and eat new things together. Natasha says she loves Brad’s sense of humor and soft side, and he loves her cooking and her “strong will” : )
We asked them to describe their engagement and wedding planning process, and here is what they shared with us:
Q: Tell us about the proposal:
A: He asked me alone at the Christmas tree in his home town Ste. Genevieve. We were engaged for a year before finding the perfect place and had to wait two years for our date to be available.
Q: Vendor Love?
Haue Valley– we just fell in love with the place!
Applause Weddings – we liked everything they offered for one price, and they were very familiar with our venue.
Arnold Florist– More than helpful and good prices!
Art by Trish– these were the cutest sugar cookies!
T’s Liquor Lane – You gotta have to have booze!
Two Mikes Catering – We liked the choices and the food was great!
Q: What keywords would you use to describe the overall style/theme of your wedding?
A: Labyrinth themed/Masquerade
Q: What’s Your Style?
A: We planned a Labyrinth/Masquerade themed wedding. The colors included white, ivory, gold, brown, & light pink. Décor was masks, pearls, clocks, crystal balls, moss rocks, white feathers, flowers and peaches.
They say you fall in love with the most unexpected person at the most unexpected time. Brad and Natasha, thanks for sharing all those details with us!
