An “Office” Wedding

Planning a wedding can cause stress- but never forget the reason you are doing it! Our recent couple Carly and Andrew share some of their tips for keeping a relaxed and FUN day:

Q: Your favorite wedding planning tip?
A: View your wedding as a giant party instead of a elaborate wedding. It makes those tedious things easier to decide on. Go with the flow, it will all work out in the end.

Q:  Anything unique that you did in either your Ceremony or Reception, Decor, Design, etc. that really personalized your wedding?
A:  For our ceremony, we only played songs from our punk rock phase (My Chemical Romance, Panic! at the Disco, Linkin Park), some with words but most are the piano versions. We grew up with that music and we still constantly listen to that music. Our Champagne glasses have the names Dwight and Jim on them. Our first words to each other were Office quotes and the Office became a huge staple in our relationship. We also painted our own cake toppers from champagne corks. They are Jim and Dwight.

Q: Where was the dress purchased from?
A: Boulevard Bride.

Q: Grooms Suit?
A: Suits 4 Men.

Q: What were your wedding colors?
A: Burgundy with gold and white accents. Center pieces were simple with flowers, candles and wooden blocks.

Q: Who catered?
A: Two Mikes Catering. Chicken in white sauce, second meat, pasta con broccoli, green beans almondine, and salad. The pasta con broccoli was AMAZING and I love a good salad.
