Nashville love in Saint Louis
Ryan and Hannah had a beautiful wedding day at The Silver Oaks Chateau! We were so happy to be a part of that, we wanted to follow up with them about a few questions for new brides in the planning process!
Q: Tell us the story of how you fell in love?
A: We met when we both worked at a bar & grill on Broadway in Nashville. We were good friends for a couple of years before we dated. There was always a little crush there (as cheesy as that sounds). But we shared similar interests and just really enjoyed spending time together. We dated for 2 1/2 years before getting engaged. We have been engaged for almost 2 years now and live in Nashville still!
Q: What were your colors or theme?
A: Dusty blue, sage, and silver. Bridesmaids are wearing dusty blue dresses. Bride has champagne dress with blush undertones. Sterling silver Candelabras on tables. Various kinds of flowers with a lot of eucalyptus!
Q: Who were your vendors?
A: Applause has the best reviews out there! 🙂 I got recommendations to go with your company. Brittany (BLK Photography) has done our maternity, family, and engagement photos. I went to middle school with Brittany so that’s how I found out about her wonderful work. Patty Long is our caterer and it was so good when we went for a tasting! Our florist, Patty Buckley, is the mother of another girl I went to middle school with. Patty owned a flower shop back then but has since retired (except for a few events here and there of course).
Q: Where was the dress purchased from?
A: Maiden Voyage.
Q: Grooms Suit?
A: Men’s Wearhouse.
Q: Who made the cake?
A: Celebrating Life Cake Boutique.
