Beautiful Day at Haue Valley

Jonathen and Chelsie had a beautiful wedding day at Haue Valley, such a cute story of love!

Q: Tell us the story of how you fell in love?
A: We both auditioned in 2011 for a world class colorguard organization and received contracts. We both danced for the 2012 season and became best of friends. One thing led into another and Jonathen moved from Dayton, Ohio to STL MO to begin our lives together.

Q: Please describe the colors and decor in your theme, including your centerpiece design:
A: Our time with marching colorguard together and dancing at the organization, ONYX, we were a part of the bluebird years. Our first show was titled “blank canvas” so instead of a guest book, we are doing a “sign the blank canvas” with different shades of blue markers. We are also having our table numbers on mini canvas’s at the tables. The guest party favor is a heart shaped bird seed heart with their name attached and they can hang it outside for birds to eat from. Our centerpiece is a birdcage. We had an actual birdcage in the show. We have books on the table to resemble the poem our show is based around, “Bluebird” by Charles Bukowski. We will have a few of our show items placed around the reception area that resemble the place we met “Onyx” and the shows we shared together.

Q:  Who were your vendors?
A:  Applause Weddings: Great at what they do! Their work is amazing and they have so much to offer. Stems: Our florist, Kim is very knowledgeable about roses/flowers and just knew what we wanted and fit our budget. Linda Rivard: Our photographer, I helped care for her dog, Nick, at a hospital I worked at and she does amazing work! Vincent Van Doughnut: Yummy, tasty donuts! T’s Liquor Lane: alcohol and dancing go great together… 🙂 Graze Catering: LOOOOVVVEEEE THEIR FOOD!!!!!!!

Q: Where was the dress purchased from?
A: Clarice’s Bridal.

Q: Grooms Suit?
A: Men’s Wearhouse.

Q: Please describe your cake/dessert table (style, flavors, colors, etc.)
A: All sorts of flavors of doughnuts, and a small cake for just Jonathen and I.
